Viridis: Imaging Enabling Software
Our software engineers work in programming languages C, C++ and some assembler to build, maintain and develop our imaging application "CDIS" or "Viridis". The Win32 software is available as OEM module as add on to third-party software or as standalone multi-user, database driven imaging application.
Currently www.copymaster.nl is extreemly successful in selling our software into vertical markets like pharmacists.
We use Birdstep database technology or variants, LEADTOOLS imaging toolkit, Visual C++ (no MFC), InstallShield and RoboHELP as selection of our vendors to build our software.
The software interfaces with ISIS, TWAIN and various SCSII scanning equipment
(copiers, double sided scanners, flatbed A4, A3, etc). The GUI of Viridis can be
adjusted by the Viridis designer. Internally, we used the software to scan
incoming / outgoing invoices and interface this with our various record-types of
our accounting software.
Viridis (without images) is also used as a marketing information system: the
multi-user, designer friendly and fast deployment (TCP/IP: internet/intranet)
add a valuable contribution to the PDS fundamentals.
PDS' employees can work anywhere in the world and log into our Viridis server. Using a high speed internet connection, user experience is the same as they where working directly on our network in Naarden.
