Infragistics’ Application Styling™ for Windows® Forms or ASP.NET empowers developers and graphic designers to create an application style once, and apply it everywhere.
With the NetAdvantage Application Styling Framework™ (ASF), developers and designers can now easily set the look and feel of applications at run time. For ASP.NET the web.config file can be used to specify a stleset, while Windows Forms uses an XML-based style library file. Our style libraries use style inheritance to provide global styling functionality. For Windows Forms this is analogous to web-based cascading style sheets (CSS). For ASP.NET we have implemented a UI Role based CSS inheritance pattern. Style libraries or StyleSets provide shared, reusable resources that can be applied effortlessly across multiple Infragistics controls in an application, or multiple applications using Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET controls.
Windows® Forms
This powerful framework enables many styling scenarios that were formerly difficult or impossible to achieve on the Windows Forms platform. The ASF allows developers and development teams to:
