LEADTOOLS Medical Image Viewer Framework Web-based Dicom Viewing |
All you need to build a medical viewing application
The LEADTOOLS Medical Web Viewer Framework enables programmers to quickly build high-quality, full-featured, web-based medical image viewer applications. The framework includes WCF components and services to implement high-level interfaces for distributing medical studies from a server to web clients, even with very limited knowledge of web hosting and web service development. The framework is ideal for web-based solutions for querying patient studies and viewing images from remote computers using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The framework's extensible design can be used for non-DICOM images or binary data transfer, or to extend an implemented web service to include application-specific data transfer and communication capabilities.
Key Features:
- Rich Client Web Viewer. This feature-rich, powerful
Win Form control includes:
- Tools most commonly used in radiology applications, like window level, rotate, flip, magnifying glass and invert.
- Synchronized scrolling, zooming and panning.
- Image markup and annotation.
- Overview (Pan/Zoom) window for working with large images.
- Full screen mode.
- Measurement and region processing tools.
- Streaming series with multiple single frame and multi-frame images.
- Enhanced control of series cell and information display.
- Options for low-memory usage in large-study viewing.
- Signed and unsigned display for extended grayscale images typical of medical applications.
- Multiple display layouts, including stack, cine and series view.
- Separately control the image and series layouts.
- Display multiple series and studies for comparision.
- Display series from multiple DICOM datasets.
- Cine playback of DICOM image series.
- Built-in series search control.
- Supports patient orientation information, localization and reference lines.
- Include local series browser control.
- Print to Windows printers.
- Copy images to clipboard to be pasted into other imaging applications.
- Save images to disk.
- Access to display non-image DICOM dataset tags.
- WCF Services. Web-hosted services to:
- Manage, store, query and Retrieve DICOM data sets, image sets or thumbnails.
- Upload single DICOM file or a set from DICOM media using DICOM DIR.
- Store and retrieve series with multiple single or multi-frame images.
- Query for patient, study and series.
- Get DICOM tags only.
- Get full DICOM files with all image information.
- Get full resolution image or a thumbnail representation.
- Perform multi-threaded background image streaming to enhance performance.
- Support Thin Client and Rich Client implementations.
- Dynamically remove or add plug-in services as needed.
- WCF Security and Client-Side Cache Management.
- Certificate exchange for strong message encryption and client authentication.
- Limit service access to authorized users.
- Options to manage user authentication, groups, and roles.
- Client-side.
- Configuration options to support proxy servers.
- Enhanced image streaming and loading.
- Stream series with multiple multi-frame/single frame images.
- Client-side caching of download studies for fast reloads and network traffic reduction.
- Local cache storage management.
- Encryption for local cache to protect patient's health record.
- CAB File Generator. This wizard generates the .Net runtime rights .CAB file for the Medical Image Viewer Window Form control.
