TWAIN and ISIS Scanning and Capture

Digital Cameras and Capture Cards with TWAIN and ISIS* Drivers
Control scanners, digital cameras, and capture cards which use TWAIN or ISIS* ® device drivers using LEADTOOLS extensive Image Acquisition capabilities. Use the default interface for the acquisition device, create your own interface, or bypass the interface entirely for completely automated tasks - as supported by the driver. Control the type of image which is acquired (black and white, black and white with halftone, grayscale, color - as supported by the device), resolution (dpi), position and size of acquired image, contrast and brightness settings, and orientation of the image. Control the use of Automated Document Feeders for single and multi-page acquires, with or without Duplex scanning. Use events and callbacks to code your own special per-page processing. Use image-source selection dialogs to allow selection of TWAIN or ISIS* ® source, or select among multiple TWAIN sources in code using our TwainSourceList or enumeration callback. Use native, file or buffered RAM transfer modes when acquiring from a TWAIN device.
LEADTOOLS' TWAIN ActiveX, VCL, COM, C++ Classes and API support gives your applications access to the wide variety of devices which can acquire images via TWAIN; Scanners, digital cameras and capture boards from manufacturers like Kodak, Hewlett Packard, Microtek, Logitech, Fuji and many more.
LEADTOOLS’ ISIS® ActiveX, VCL, COM, C++ Classes and APII support provides, in addition to properties listed above, control of gamma, compression, and scan-ahead, and you can retrieve detailed information about ADF/flatbed/page-detection capabilities. The ability to request compressed image data from scanners makes it possible to develop high-speed, high-throughput document imaging applications, working with ISIS* ® compliant scanners from manufacturers like Ricoh, Hewlett Packard, Bell & Howell, and others.
