LEADTOOLS 2D Barcode SDK technology seamlessly integrates the creation, detection and decoding of Data Matrix as well as other 2D barcode symbols with advanced LEADTOOLS Imaging SDK technology. LEADTOOLS is the most advanced and comprehensive imaging SDK available and is LEADing the industry with high speed, yet very accurate 1D and 2D barcode read and write for over 100 different barcode types and sub-types.
Data Matrix is a two-dimensional matrix barcode consisting of black and white square modules arranged in either a square or rectangular pattern. The encoded information can be text or binary. Typical data storage size is from a few bytes up to 2 kilobytes. The total storage of the encoded data depends on the symbol dimension. Error correction codes are added to increase symbol robustness. Even if a Data Matrix is partially damaged, it can still be decoded.
