Module 2: Introduction to MS App-V

This module provides an overview of the MS
Application Virtualization Platform and introduces
the vision of Application Virtualization. It focuses on
the key issues surrounding Application Management
and available solutions.

Module 7: Standalone and MSI deployment

This module covers alternate deployment scenario like standalone, scripted or MSI deployment.

Module 3: Architecture

This module covers an architecture overview of all the available deployment models of App-V, being the
App-V Full Infrastructure, the Configuration Manager 2007 R2 Integrated model and the Standalone / MSI deployment model. It identifies the benefits and concerns around the different deployment models.

Module 8: Basic Sequencing:

This module explains how to use the MS App-V Sequencer to package applications to be deployed to MS App-V Clients. This includes capturing, troubleshooting and deploying a virtualized
application in an App-V environment. It will also cover the limitations of App-V and how to deal with those situations.

Module 4: App-V Client

This module describes the architecture and design
of the App-V client as well as the requirements for
installing and configuring it.

Module 9: Advanced Sequencing:

This module will go beyond the standard sequences module and introduce some more complex sequencing scenarios, like editing OSD files, configuring Dynamic Suiting Composition, interaction
with locally installed applications, defining a middleware strategy and automated sequencing.

Module 5: Full Infrastructure

This module covers the implementation of the
App-V Full Infrastructure model, covering designing,
installing, administering, configuring and troubleshooting a Full Infrastructure environment
