Shared Components
With InstallAnywhere, components can be shared between different
applications. A component will be installed if it doesn't already
exist on the system, however if the component has already been
installed by another application it is registered as shared. The
uninstaller will not remove a component if it is still needed by
another application. This is essential if you are installing a suite
of applications that share required resources. You can even share a
Java Virtual Machine between applications. Available in
InstallAnywhere Enterprise Edition only.
