A Macrovision-Hosted Solution lowers your initial cost of ownership in both software license fees and setup time. This deployment option also lowers your ongoing cost of ownership by eliminating server maintenance and monitoring costs. Note that even with a Macrovision-Hosted Solution, you are still hosting your physical update files and all your applications.
