We have developed an entirely unique, automated installed application extraction utility. This utility allows users to point at any folders containing applications and it will import all the files, registry settings, shortcuts and other associated items into the AOK database. From there it is possible to generate a standard MSI. Once the application has been extracted and in the AOK database it can make use of the rest of the AOK testing functionality. AOK Convert-It solves the problem of migrating legacy applications with lost media to a new platform by providing packagers with a raw MSI.
