Configuration Testing - Macrovision

QualityMonitor runs configuration testing to automatically verify before deployment that all installation elements ? such as file extensions and shortcuts ? are configured correctly and that all key functionality will work in the intended environment.

For example, all of the application shortcuts are automatically listed. Each one can be selected and run.  If the shortcut launches the application as expected, a positive comment can be logged and the configuration testing will be marked as successful.

QualityMonitor also makes sure that no uninstallation problems will arise down the road.
