management.
Project Packager
The Project Packager feature allows all content
requiring translation to be packaged into a single Zip file for easy
distribution, ensuring all document components such as topics are included
in the workflow.
Reporting and Statistics
Run statistical reports showing detailed information for each project or
file to determine what has and has not been translated, how many words and
segments translated, and what remaining content still requires translation.

Unicode Support
Lingo is fully Unicode capable, making it possible to
handle the entire world's Unicode language characters. Lingo not only
supports Western European languages, but also double-byte Asian languages,
Eastern European languages, and more.
Update Project Replaces Difference Project
MadCap Lingo no longer creates a new project when simple changes or updates
are made to the source; instead, it simply updates the current project only
with the changes. These changed files are then flagged in MadCap Lingo for
resending to translation.
Alignment
Translators can create an alignment project and manually align files
and segments as needed. MadCap Align provides two benefits:
•A more intuitive workflow with a clear separation between the translation
and alignment processes.
•Greater flexibility, since translators can continue to work within MadCap
Align even when the MadCap Lingo software is closed.
Dictionaries
You can use dictionaries in various languages to assist you when
translating content. MadCap provides many dictionaries with English terms
translated to another language.
Termbases
Termbases ensure consistency across the terminology in your project.
Create, manage, and reuse multilingual terminology from a single storage
area and reduce the time and effort required to translate new documents.
Translation Editor Improves Ease-of-Use
One editor type now supports all file types, creating a consistent
experience.Updated toolbar provides more intuitive access to translation
functions.Color-coded backgrounds provide a quick visual cue on status of
segments. They include white (not translated), gray (translated/confirmed),
and red (match exists from TM).Translation confirmation is as simple as
clicking on a check mark button, which inserts the translation and moves the
focus to the next segment in the file. Pressing Enter on the keyboard does
the same thing.Separate "Translation" and "Preview" modes simplify the
localization process. Translation only occurs in Translation mode, which has
a grid view. Preview mode provides a visual view of how the localized
content will appear when published. A button in the Translation Editor
toolbar lets users quickly switch between the two modes.
